Season 2019/2020 club Award Winners
Treeton Terriers Club Award - Melissa Slocombe
Melissa has been the Treeton Terriers JFC Welfare Officer for a number of years now, looking after every team and the club as a whole with great passion and determination and a whole lot of positivity. This can be a difficult and time consuming job where one can be called upon at anytime and at a moments notice. Just recently, Melissa also took on the role of club CoVid-19 Officer and was instrumental in helping drive the club forward to meet stringent FA guidelines to allow all of our teams to safely return to training in July 2020 first of all and then begin playing competitive friendly football matches in August 2020.
Thank you Melissa for all the incredible hard work you put in looking after our club and ensuring all of our players enjoy their football in a safe and happy environment.

Treeton Terriers Manager of the Year Award - Simon Marsh
Most managers and coaches at our club will take their team through all the different age groups starting from U7s going right up to U16/17s. Quite often they will be a parent to one of the Terriers in their team.
This is where Simon is unique.
Simon has taken the Nursery team at Treeton Terriers for a great many years and is responsible for the first coaching many of our Terriers ever had as he gets the Nursery kids ready for their entry into competitive football as U7s. Simon doesn't stop there though! He also prepares our future managers and coaches who begin by assisting Simon through the Nursery years. Simon is a great leader who leads by example and his coaching of players and coaches alike has had such a positive effect on so many people at our club past and present.
Quite simply, Simon is the lifeblood of this club. He continually keeps the Terrier players and coaches conveyer belt running continuously. Thank you!

The winner of the TTJFC Mini Soccer Manager of the Season - Martyn Weir
Well done to Martyn for the significant progress you have made with your team this year. Martyn's hard working yet imaginative approach to developing his players has brought sustained improvement year on year and as the team's performance has improved, so have the results! Even during the lockdown Martyn was still developing his team by introducing activities like the Covid keep up challenge. Every single player improved their keep up score after the lockdown period - see Season 2019/2020 Player and Team Achievements section below for more information.
Well done to all the players, Reece and Paul for their support.

Treeton Terriers Respect Award - Clay Harrington
Congratulations to Clay for the massive contribution you make throughout our club. Clay not only puts so much time and enthusiasm into developing his team year on year but also brings that same level of enthusiasm into helping other aspects of the club including hosting our Christmas party, helping with prize donations, Covid risk assessment, raking pitches as well as many other things. Over the years Clay has continuously pitched imaginative ideas and got involved in many activities to take Treeton Terriers JFC forward.
Thank you for your amazing support and contribution to our club.

U10s COVID Keepy Up challenge
During the lockdown period the Under 10s worked hard on their keepy up skills with every player registering an improvement compared to what they could achieve prior to the lockdown. Well done to the winner with 60 keepy ups and the most improved with 54 (which was an incredible improvement of 51 prior to the lockdown).
